Folkman described this app as a combination of Venmo\u2019s peer-to-peer payment features and Robinhood\u2019s trading tools, calling it \u201cVenmo meets Robinhood.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"912\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%9CWe_Will_Never_Launch_Our_Own_Chain%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>\u201cWe Will Never Launch Our Own Chain\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"912\">Folkman also emphasized that World Liberty Financial has no plans to launch its own blockchain network:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"1191\">\u201cWe will never issue a World Liberty Financial chain. That would go completely against our mindset on stablecoins. Our business is not about issuing chains or exchanges; when it comes to chains, technology, and distribution platforms, we take a completely agnostic approach.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1337\">This approach aligns with the company\u2019s strategy of bridging decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance across multiple blockchains.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1582\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Project_Background_and_Token_Updates\"><\/span>Project Background and Token Updates<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1582\">World Liberty Financial, a DeFi and crypto initiative launched in September 2024 with support from the Trump family, has so far issued its own WLFI cryptocurrency and the USD-pegged stablecoin USD1.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1804\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Since its WLFI token launch on September 1, 2025, the token has shown volatile performance.
