One of the most notable players is <a href=\"https:\/\/coinengineer.net\/blog\/bitmine-makes-major-ethereum-purchase-from-galaxy-digital\/\"><strong>BitMine<\/strong> <\/a>Immersion Technologies, an Ethereum-focused digital asset treasury. A newly identified wallet believed to be associated with the company recently received 9,176 ETH from Galaxy Digital\u2019s OTC address. The inflow\u2014valued at roughly $29.14 million\u2014highlights ongoing institutional appetite despite market turbulence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"1156\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-182459 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/coinmuhendisi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ethereum.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1455\">Well-known crypto investors have also continued to expand their long exposure to Ethereum. Taiwanese digital asset figure Jeffrey Huang, known online as \u201cMachi Big Brother,\u201d along with his brother \u201cMachi Small Brother,\u201d both increased their leveraged long positions even as prices continued to decline.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1754\">Machi Big Brother added 7,400.7 ETH on Hyperliquid, worth about $23.55 million, with a liquidation price of $3,040.6. Meanwhile, Machi Small Brother deposited 5,000 ETH\u2014valued at $15.9 million\u2014along with additional collateral to reduce liquidation risk, placing his liquidation level at $2,794.71.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"2029\">Another whale, operating under the label \u201c66kETHBorrow,\u201d accumulated an additional 16,937 Ethereum. This purchase brought the investor\u2019s total holdings to 422,175 ETH\u2014approximately $1.34 billion\u2014underscoring the scale of institutional and whale participation during the decline.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2070\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Diverging_Behavior_Among_Ethereum_Holders\"><\/span>Diverging Behavior Among Ethereum Holders<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2072\" data-end=\"2278\">Despite the sell-off, a substantial amount of buying occurred around the $3,130 zone. Around 2.53 million ETH were accumulated at this level, forming a strong support base as buyers stepped in aggressively.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2641\">However, not all investor groups reacted uniformly to the downturn. Long-term holders\u2014those who have held ETH for three to ten years\u2014have significantly increased their distribution activity. Their spending has risen to an average of more than 45,000 ETH per day based on the 90-day SMA, marking the highest level of long-term holder selling since February 2021.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2903\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">As the market continues to move sharply, some seasoned investors are taking profits while institutional players and whales build positions.
