While the exact technical cause has not yet been confirmed, the researcher noted that the cases appear to coincide with the timing of the most recent update to the Trust Wallet Chrome extension.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1929\" data-end=\"2235\">According to the initial list of theft addresses shared by ZachXBT, the attacker stole more than $6 million in cryptocurrency from hundreds of users.
