Over the past seven days, however, the average has dropped to around 23,000 BTC.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"1105\">This decline points to a moderation in the intense wave of selling seen earlier in the month. Lower exchange inflows typically translate into reduced immediate sell pressure, as fewer coins are positioned for liquidation. That said, inflows remain elevated compared to previous months, indicating that distribution has not fully subsided. The market may have exited the most aggressive phase of the sell-off, but conditions remain fragile.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"1105\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-197146 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/coinmuhendisi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bitcoin-exchange.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1355\" height=\"494\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1144\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whale_Activity_Dominates_the_Flow\"><\/span>Whale Activity Dominates the Flow<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1411\">Although total inflows have decreased, the composition of those inflows has become more concentrated. The \u201cExchange <a href=\"https:\/\/coinengineer.net\/blog\/ethereum-above-2000-whales-send-mixed-signals\/\"><strong>Whale<\/strong> <\/a>Ratio,\u201d which measures the share of the top 10 deposits relative to total exchange inflows, has climbed to 0.64 \u2014 its highest level since 2015.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1777\">In practical terms, 64% of all Bitcoin sent to exchanges is coming from the largest transfer transactions. This suggests that major holders continue to offload positions. Throughout 2025, analysts have described the market as undergoing a \u201cgreat redistribution,\u201d with long-term holders transferring substantial amounts of BTC to new participants in multiple waves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1910\">The data implies that while smaller flows are tapering off, whales remain active sellers, maintaining structural pressure on price.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"1942\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_Another_Leg_Down_Ahead_for_Bitcoin\"><\/span>Is Another Leg Down Ahead for Bitcoin?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"2247\">On-chain indicators also hint that a near-term breakout may be unlikely. Some models place Bitcoin\u2019s potential \u201cultimate bear market bottom\u201d near $55,000. At the same time, declining USDT inflows to exchanges suggest that available sidelined capital \u2014 often referred to as \u201cdry powder\u201d \u2014 is diminishing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2402\">Prediction market probabilities further reflect caution.
