April-delivery US gold futures fell 0.6% to $5,211. <a href=\"https:\/\/coinengineer.net\/blog\/us-iran-tensions-escalate-hormuz-strait-alert-oil-prices-plunge\/\">Oil prices<\/a> dropped below $90 per barrel.
