Donald Trump has proposed a direct 50% tariff on the European Union. This strong statement comes as a reaction to stalled trade negotiations.
Trump Announces Date for EU Tariff!
Speaking on Truth Social, Trump declared, “I am recommending a straight 50% Tariff on the European Union,” unveiling his new tariff plan. He also indicated that the proposed tariff would go into effect on June 1.
In his post, Trump stated, “The European Union has been very difficult to deal with. Our discussions with them are going nowhere,” signaling that tougher trade measures may be on the horizon.
Trade Tensions Rise Again
