Binance Announces New HODLer Project! What Are the Details?

Binance has announced Sophon (SOPH) as the 20th project on its HODLer Airdrops page. Sophon (SOPH) is a project developed using ZK Stack technology and is defined as a consumer-focused entertainment blockchain.

Users who deposited BNB into Binance Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and On-Chain Yields products between May 14-17, 2025, will automatically be eligible for retroactive airdrop rewards.

HODLer Airdrops details will be announced within approximately 5 hours, and the new token will be distributed to users’ Spot Wallets at least 1 hour before trading begins.

Binance will list SOPH at 13:00 (UTC) on May 28, 2025, and open trading pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. The “seed tag” label will be applied to SOPH. Users will be able to deposit SOPH starting 1 hour after this announcement.

Note: SOPH will be listed on Binance Alpha and will be tradable on this platform. However, it will no longer be displayed on Alpha after the Spot listing.

HODLer Airdrops is a Binance program that distributes token rewards to users who hold BNB, based on their past BNB balances.
By depositing your BNB into Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products, you automatically qualify for HODLer Airdrops (as well as Launchpool & Megadrop) rewards. This method allows you to earn retroactive rewards without constant action.

How to Benefit from HODLer Airdrops?

Go to the [Earn] section on Binance and search for BNB.
Subscribe your BNB assets to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products.
Binance takes snapshots at random moments every hour to calculate the hourly averages of user and pool balances.
Rewards are transferred to users’ Spot Wallets within 24 hours after the announcement.

For example, a reward distribution on 2024-06-11 may be calculated based on balances from 2024-06-01 to 2024-06-07.
