Satoshi Nakamoto Becomes the 11th Richest Person in the World!

Satoshi Bitcoin wealth dropped sharply.

As Bitcoin surpassed the $120,000 mark, the mysterious creator of the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Satoshi Nakamoto, climbed to an eye-catching position on the global wealth leaderboard. According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham, the estimated 1.096 million BTC attributed to Nakamoto now holds a market value of over $134.15 billion.

Nakamoto Surpasses Michael Dell in Wealth

This staggering fortune places Nakamoto just above tech giant Michael Dell, who holds a net worth of $125.1 billion. While Nakamoto isn’t officially listed on the Forbes Billionaires List — as it only considers publicly confirmed and traceable assets like stocks — his theoretical position continues to gain significance as Bitcoin’s price keeps climbing.

$370,000 Bitcoin Could Make Nakamoto the Richest Person on Earth

So, when would Nakamoto top the global wealth rankings? Analysts suggest that if Bitcoin hits approximately $370,800, his holdings would be worth more than $406.5 billion, surpassing Elon Musk, who currently leads with a net worth of $404 billion.

What Do Analysts Say?

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas believes that if Bitcoin maintains its historical average annual return of around 50%, Nakamoto could become the second-richest person in the world by 2026. Balchunas also noted that Nakamoto’s decision to never move or sell any of his BTC mirrors a “Jack Bogle-like simplicity.”

Meanwhile, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan predicts Bitcoin could reach $200,000 by the end of 2025, fueled by institutional demand and a supply-side shock. On the more bullish side, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has projected that Bitcoin could hit $250,000 by year’s end.

Nakamoto Dominates in BTC Holdings

According to BiTBO data, Nakamoto remains far ahead of all known individual and institutional Bitcoin holders:

  • Winklevoss twins: ~70,000 BTC

  • Tim Draper: 30,000 BTC

  • Michael Saylor (personally): 17,732 BTC

  • Custodians and corporations: Combined ~847,000 BTC (roughly 4% of total supply)

The Silent Rise of Satoshi Nakamoto

With each new all-time high, Nakamoto’s theoretical wealth continues to grow — all without moving a single satoshi. This passive rise to power is considered one of the most remarkable achievements in crypto history.

Many in the crypto community admire Nakamoto’s decision to never spend the coins, viewing it as a deep commitment to the foundational values of decentralization and scarcity. And if Bitcoin continues its bull run, the world’s most elusive billionaire could soon become the world’s richest person — quietly and without a single sale.
