Binance has officially announced that it will support the rebranding of the AI-focused crypto project AI16Z to ElizaOS. The company revealed a comprehensive transition plan covering both Binance Alpha 2.0 and Binance Futures users. This move reflects Binance’s strategic commitment to supporting project evolutions and brand restructurings within its ecosystem.
Binance Alpha 2.0: Token Swap Begins on November 6
The Binance Alpha 2.0 team confirmed that the token swap from AI16Z to ELIZAOS will begin on November 6, 2025.
- At 13:00 (TSI) on November 6, AI16Z trading will be temporarily suspended.
- AI16Z deposit services will also be paused at the same time.
- Binance advises users to complete all deposits before the deadline, as AI16Z deposits will be permanently disabled after the swap.
The conversion rate is set at 1 AI16Z = 6 ELIZAOS. All AI16Z holdings in users’ Binance Alpha 2.0 accounts will be automatically converted to ELIZAOS tokens at this rate. Trading for ELIZAOS will resume on November 7, 2025, at 02:00 (UTC), alongside the reopening of deposit services for the new token.
Binance Futures: AI16ZUSDT Contract to Be Removed
Binance Futures will terminate the USDⓈ-M AI16ZUSDT perpetual futures contract. According to the official notice, all positions will be closed and automatically settled at 06:00 (UTC) on November 6, 2025. Once settlement is completed, the contract will be delisted from the platform.
Binance stated that a separate announcement will be made if a new listing is planned. Users are advised to close open positions before the transition to minimize potential risk.
ElizaOS: A New Brand for a New Era
Following the rebranding, ElizaOS will focus on optimizing AI-powered on-chain operations. While building on AI16Z’s legacy, the new project will introduce a refined roadmap centered on Web3 smart agent technologies, AI computation engines, and community-driven development models.
