What is Roam (ROAM) ?

Roam is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) project leveraging blockchain technology to provide global, seamless, and secure Wi-Fi access. It offers a decentralized implementation of the OpenRoaming standard.

$ROAM is the native multi-purpose utility token of the Roam network. It provides economic incentives within the network, encourages community participation, and serves several critical functions. $ROAM does not grant any equity, revenue rights, or investment returns. Its design is strictly for on-network usage and incentive mechanisms.

$ROAM tokens are distributed in proportion to actual network usage and participation. Passive holders cannot earn rewards simply by holding.

Token issuance is determined via a mathematical model based on network difficulty adjustments. Roam Point holders, $ROAM holders, and NFT owners can mint $ROAM in different staking pools.

• Service Delivery & Rewards: Hotspot Providers earn $ROAM for successfully authenticating users and delivering data services.
