A cryptocurrency trader has made hundreds of thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes.
According to a post by blockchain analysis platform Lookonchain, a trader was able to earn 2,414 Solana (approximately $398,000) in less than 10 minutes.
The trader spent 60 Solana (approximately $9,914) to acquire 89.18 million HAPPY tokens. They then sold 2,474 Solana (approximately $408,000) of those tokens.
The HAPPY token also made millions for its developer. The project was launched by an individual known on social media as @bazingahappy.
Using the name bazingahappy.sol on Solscan, the developer used Pump.fun to buy a total of 793 million HAPPY tokens for 85 Solana (approximately $14,000) once HAPPY was launched. This represents 79.3% of the total HAPPY supply.
The Lookonchain team revealed that these are now worth $3.7 million and warned of possible selling pressure.
