A new listing is drawing attention in the cryptocurrency market. Binance has announced the spot listing of Katana (KAT), the native token of the Katana ecosystem. The exchange confirmed that KAT will be listed with a Seed Tag label. Trading will begin on March 18, 2026 at 13:00 (UTC).
With this listing, users will be able to trade KAT through three different spot trading pairs. According to the announcement, deposits for KAT will open one hour before trading begins.
Which Trading Pairs Will Be Available for KAT?
According to information shared by Binance, the following spot trading pairs will be available for Katana (KAT):

KAT / USDT

KAT / USDC
-
KAT / TRY
Trading will officially begin on March 18, 2026 at 13:00 (UTC).
Meanwhile, withdrawals will open on March 19, 2026 at 13:00 (UTC).
The exchange also confirmed that no listing fee will be charged (0 BNB) for the Katana listing.
150 Million KAT Allocated for Marketing Campaigns
Another notable detail in the announcement concerns ecosystem incentives. The Katana project has allocated 150 million KAT tokens for upcoming marketing and ecosystem growth campaigns.

How the Binance Alpha Process Will Work
Before the spot listing, KAT will also appear on the Binance Alpha platform. However, the process will proceed as follows:

15 minutes before spot trading begins, users will be able to transfer their KAT from Alpha accounts to Spot accounts.

Once spot trading goes live, KAT will be removed from Binance Alpha.

Users will still be able to view their balances in Alpha accounts and transfer them to Spot accounts whenever they choose.
Binance also stated that KAT held in Alpha accounts will be automatically transferred to Spot accounts within 24 hours.
Listed With a Seed Tag
KAT will be listed on Binance with the Seed Tag label. This tag is generally applied to early-stage or higher-volatility projects.
Because of this, investors are advised to carefully evaluate the project’s risk profile and market liquidity before trading.
