LayerZero (ZRO) has also emerged as another noteworthy token; its trading volume on Upbit experienced a remarkable increase of 365.80%, rising from an average of $41,000 to $190,000 in a one-hour timeframe. In contrast, Binance showed a more moderate increase, with its volume growing from $97,000 to $141,000​.

Bounce Token (AUCTION) saw its trading volume on Upbit rise dramatically by 246.49%, increasing from an average of $3,000 to $11,000 in just one hour. However, on Binance, the volume fell by 56.76%, dropping from $4,000 to $2,000.

Similarly, other altcoins like Theta Fuel (TFUEL) and Stargate Finance (STG) followed this trend. TFUEL‘s volume on Upbit surged by 339.14%, reaching $2 million from $418,000, while its volume on Binance slightly decreased from $488,000 to $471,000. Meanwhile, STG increased by 165.54% on Upbit, climbing from $137,000 to $363,000, but saw a decline of 19.60% on Binance, falling from $175,000 to $140,000.

Now, another major South Korean exchange, Bithumb, has announced that it will list BEAM and AUCTION coins.

The BEAM token will begin trading in Bithumb’s Korean Won (KRW) market starting at 12:30 PM on October 24, 2024. The token will only be supported on the Ethereum network and will not be supported if sent through any other network.

As for the AUCTION token, it will start trading half an hour later, at 1:00 PM, and it will also only be supported on the Ethereum network.

Bounce (AUCTION) has been listed on Upbit, South Korea’s leading exchange, where Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) trading volumes have been lagging behind altcoin volumes.

Upbit announced the listing of AUCTION at 10:00 AM KST today on its official website.

The exchange stated in its announcement that AUCTION deposit transactions will only be open for the Ethereum network. Upbit also warned that transfers from other networks should not be made.

It was stated that AUCTION will be traded in South Korean Won (KRW) pairs, and after this listing, investors will be able to buy and sell AUCTION/KRW trading pairs.

According to CoinGecko data, AUCTION took off after the listing announcement. The AUCTION price soared 80% from $17.3 to $31.4. AUCTION, which has since pulled back slightly, is trading at $29.2.
