According to Parsec Finance data, as of 11:00 this morning, the floor price of a single Pudgy Penguins was 22.2 ETH ($61,780). At the same time, a single Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT was momentarily priced at 22.1 ETH ($61,500).

This minor price difference signals a shift in the NFT world, with Ape NFT seemingly losing its leading position.

Daniel Meagaard stated the following on the subject in a post he shared on Twitter:

Following this, Yuga Labs co-founder Gordon Goner made a statement on Twitter.

Goner expressed his pride in @pudgypenguins. Furthermore, he continued:

Moreover, with the rise of Pudgy Penguins NFTs since November, there has been a net gain of 320%. Prices surged from 5 ETH to 21 ETH.

In addition, Bored Ape NFTs have been on a downward trend since 2022. Its all-time high (ATH) was around 160 ETH. Currently, the price hovers around 22 ETH.

Moreover, Bored Ape is struggling on the branding front, which is one of the factors negatively influencing the price. On the flip side, Pudgy Penguins is selling toys in Walmart and planning to launch a game.
