]]> Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has been in the spotlight with a picture allegedly showing him with “G Lock” and five other convicted individuals. In the photo, SBF, who is said to have been taken in New York’s Metropolitan Prison, attracts attention with a new beard and slimmer appearance. Independent crypto reporter Tiffany Fong identified this picture as the only Bankman-Fried photo published after being convicted of fraud in August 2023.

The photo, which is claimed to have been taken on December 17, depicts Bankman-Fried with five other inmates. Fong shared this photo during an interview with former MDC prisoner “G Lock”. While G Lock provided some insights into Bankman-Fried’s prison life, he described him as “strangely devil-like” but also noted that he was “a good man”. It was also shared that Bankman-Fried did not shave or take showers in prison conditions.

Some members of the crypto industry commented on SBF’s situation in the photo. Some noted that prison life wasn’t treating him well, while others joked that he’d joined gangs in prison. On the other hand, Bankman-Fried’s prison attitude was claimed to be “more gangster” than American rapper Tekashi Six Nine as Bankman-Fried hadn’t “snitched on anyone” in prison.

Finally, according to Fong, while Bankman-Fried’s friends in prison poked fun at his relationship with Caroline Ellison, it was reported they watched his interview that was published with the biography of Michael Lewis’s Big Short book.

]]> Michael Lewis, a prominent author known for “The Big Short” and “Flash Boys,” revealed that the disgraced FTX founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, had considered the possibility of paying Donald Trump to refrain from running for president. According to Lewis, Sam Bankman-Fried researched the idea of offering 5 billion dollars for Trump not to run for the presidency. Lewis shared these claims in a CBS interview broadcast on Sunday.

Interestingly, Bankman-Fried thought not only about the financial aspect but also whether such a payment was legal. Lewis stated, “Sam’s question was not only ‘Is 5 billion dollars enough for Trump not to run?’, also ‘Was it legal?’

Bankman-Fried’s spokesman Mark Botnick, refused to comment on the potential payment. Before FTX’s collapse, Bankman-Fried actively donated to political campaigns, allegedly contributing to both Democratic and Republican politicians.

Bankman-Fried could face more than 100 years in prison if charged with various accusations, including fraud, in an upcoming trial. Political and financial issues relating to him continue to be examined prior to Bankman-Fried’s pending trial.
