Project Vision and Origin
The problem is straightforward. Most existing AI models (such as ChatGPT) require access to decrypted data in order to learn and operate. Privasea’s vision is fundamentally different: enabling AI to process data while it remains encrypted.

How Does Privasea AI Work?
Privasea’s architecture is built on three core components.
1. Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)
Thanks to FHE, data remains encrypted at all times. Computation is executed directly within ciphertext. Neither node operators nor AI models can access the raw data.
2. DeepSea AI Network
This network consists of nodes that perform confidential AI inference. Nodes execute FHE-based tasks and are rewarded in PRAI tokens.

Who Founded Privasea AI?
Privasea AI was founded by David Jiao (Yin Jiao). His background is rooted in AI and autonomous systems. He previously led self-driving vehicle projects and secured approximately $20 million in funding for his first venture.
His first major Web3 role came in 2021 as CEO of NuLink, a privacy computing project focused on proxy re-encryption (PRE). In 2022, he left NuLink to pursue a vision combining AI and blockchain more directly.
Jiao assembled a team of university professors and PhDs, focusing on confidential computing, FHE, and MPC. After extensive evaluation, the team chose FHE as the core architecture due to its scalability and long-term potential.
Under his leadership, Privasea has evolved into a confidential AI network integrating FHE-based AI computation, decentralized compute infrastructure, and Proof-of-Human verification. The network is currently active across Solana, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain.
