On January 26, a post was shared on Warden’s X account that contained derogatory remarks against the Algorand community. This indicated that the account had been compromised by another person. The account hijacker then advised the Algorand community to sell their holdings of $ALGO (Algorand) and buy $ETH (Ethereum) instead.
Justin Sun Targeted! (Algorand)
In a new post, the hacker mocked Tron founder Justin Sun for taking Algorand to new heights. According to the hacker, what needed to be done was to give Justin Sun full powers over Algorand and allow him to reprint any asset as True USD (TUSD). The hacker then stated the following:
“Of course, I immediately accepted this offer. Soon Algorand will be pegged to the TRUE DOLLAR and a new era of digital trading will begin.”
Again using sarcasm, Hacker claimed that Sun’s projects would be responsible for the next financial collapse in cryptocurrency.
Not only that, Hacker claimed that the CEO had drained a six-figure asset from the community and portrayed it as an attack. Changing the existing bio, he shared that Warden left the Algorand Foundation and is now a semi-professional pole dancer.
