Bithumb, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, is on the agenda with the ANIME (ANIME) and VeThor Token (VTHO) listings at the beginning of the new year. According to the official announcement, both tokens will start trading on the Korean Woon (KRW) market.
ANIME and VTHO Trading Dates and Details
Bithumb announced that the ANIME and VTHO tokens will begin trading on January 31, 2025 (Friday) at 19:00.
- The ANIME token will be backed through the Arbitrum One network and deposits from other networks will not be accepted.
- The VTHO token will be available for deposit through the VeChain network.
Deposits and withdrawals will be active within 2 hours of the announcement. A certain number of confirmations will need to be reached before launching a trade:
- 30 block confirmations for ANIME,
- 12 block approvals will be requested for VTHO.
Reference prices were determined as follows:
- ANIME: 66.11 KRW
- VTHO: 7.085 KRW
Bithumb’s Special Airdrop for VTHO Token Holders
Bithumb announced that it will organize a VTHO token airdrop for VeChain (VET) holders. The airdrop will take place in February 2025 and detailed information will be shared in the coming days.
Trade Restrictions and Security Measures
Bithumb will implement some restrictions to protect its users against extreme price fluctuations:
- Purchases will be limited during the first five minutes.
- Sell orders at levels 10% below and 100% above the reference price will be restricted.
- Automated orders will only become active after the first trade is executed.
