Blockchain Academy: Sui Foundation’s Initiative for Youth!! Blockchain technology is becoming progressively more widespread, and the number of students and young entrepreneurs knowledgeable in this field is increasing every day.
Greg Siourounis, General Manager of Sui Foundation, announced in an interview that he is planning to build a blockchain academy in cooperation with Sharjah American University, based in the United Arab Emirates. Siourounis mentioned that this initiative aims to raise awareness about blockchain technology and its applications and that they will organize seminars and workshops to help the younger generation understand the potential of blockchain.

During his initial encounters with university students, Siourounis stated that many students are already familiar with blockchain technology and are considering using it in their projects. He underlined the need for educational tools that help young people better comprehend the limitations and capabilities of blockchain.
Moreover, Siourounis emphasized that it’s equally important to protect the youth from misinformation. He pointed out that education on the true potential of blockchain and raising awareness against misleading information coming from outside sources is important.
The establishment of the blockchain academy is progressing in line with the Emirate of Sharjah’s goals in the field of blockchain research and education. Sharjah American University Rector Tod Laursen emphasized that the academy aims to provide students with information about the topics of the future and equip them to succeed in the changing world of the future.
