Yet, the rest of the market hasn’t quite caught up. Altcoins are still lagging, and for them to rally, we need to see a decline in Bitcoin dominance.
Bitcoin Surges, But Altcoins Struggle To Follow
Over the weekend, Bitcoin tested multiple new highs, standing out with its solo performance. While this move has excited many investors, it hasn’t yet translated into gains for altcoins. The dominance chart clearly indicates that most of the capital is still flowing into Bitcoin, not into alternative tokens.

For altcoins to shine, Bitcoin dominance must decrease. Until then, the capital allocation across the crypto market is likely to remain uneven.
Key Technical Levels To Watch Closely
Technical analysis suggests that Bitcoin is facing only one significant resistance ahead: $122,721 — the all-time high. A breakout above this level could ignite a broader market rally.
On the downside, the nearest key support zones are at $120,656 and $119,968. As long as Bitcoin stays above these supports, the bullish trend is expected to continue.
Focus Shifts To Bitcoin Dominance
This week, market watchers are not just looking at prices but also tracking Bitcoin dominance closely. A dip in dominance could signal an incoming altcoin rally. Otherwise, Bitcoin may continue to lead the charge alone, leaving altcoins trailing behind.
