In the past week, the altcoins with the highest number of active users have been announced. BNB Chain (BNB) topped the list with over 17 million users, while leading projects such as NEAR Protocol, Solana, and Tron also secured spots at the top.
BNB Chain Leads the Pack
BNB Chain recorded 17.1 million weekly active users, marking a 19.1% increase from the previous week. Strong demand for DeFi and GameFi projects largely fueled this growth.
NEAR Protocol and Solana in the Top 3
- NEAR Protocol (NEAR):1 million users (+0.5%)
- Solana (SOL):3 million users (-16%)
Despite a decline, Solana managed to hold its place in the top three.
opBNB and Tron Show Strong Growth

- Tron (TRX):6 million users (+7.1%), supported by heavy activity in DeFi and stablecoin transactions.

Some platforms experienced sharp user losses:
- Raydium (RAY): -59.6% to 2.6 million users
- Jito (JTO): -31.7% to 2.7 million users
- Uniswap (UNI): -27.3%
- Aptos (APT): -24.2%
Ethereum and Bitcoin Also Featured

- Bitcoin:9 million users (-7.5%)
- Ethereum:6 million users (-10%)
Although both networks saw declines, they remain core pillars of the crypto ecosystem.
- Leader: BNB Chain – 17.1M users
- Fastest Growth: opBNB (+26%)
- Biggest Decline: Raydium (-59.6%)
- Most Stable: NEAR Protocol
Active user numbers continue to serve as a critical indicator of adoption and real-world usage. Over the past week, BNB Chain’s dominance, opBNB’s impressive growth, and Solana & Ethereum’s declines underscored the ever-changing dynamics of the crypto landscape.
