What is Illuvium?
Illuvium is a AAA-quality Web3 role-playing game (RPG) developed on the Ethereum network, combining open-world exploration and auto-battler mechanics. Players capture, train, and battle creatures known as “Illuvials” which can also be traded as NFTs. Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game aims to attract traditional gamers to the Web3 space with its high-fidelity graphics.
Thanks to Immutable X’s Layer-2 solution, Illuvium offers fast interactions and low transaction fees, effectively implementing a decentralized game economy. At its core are “Play-to-Earn” and “Own-to-Earn” models.

Illuvium has been in development since 2020 by a 40+ member international team. The project started with Unreal Engine 4.26 and later upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.
