Bloomberg Senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas has given a launch date for spot Ethereum ETFs.
In a May 30 Twitter post, Balchunas discussed the launch of spot Ethereum ETFs. Stating that companies have started updating their S-1 filings and will probably complete all paperwork soon, Balchunas pointed to late June and July 4 as potential dates for the launch:
BlackRock S-1 update is a good sign. You’ll probably see the rest trickle in soon. Late June or July 4th for launch seems like a good over/under.

BlackRock, which recently made a move, submitted an updated S-1 filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). More companies are expected to complete their S-1 filings in the coming days.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had approved the 19b-4 filings submitted for a spot Ethereum ETF last week, creating great excitement in the market. However, these ETFs also need S-1 approval to start trading.
