Coin Mühendisi has obtained the details of the package prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance with a tax revenue expectation of 226 billion TL.
Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced on the social media platform X that the draft tax study for the Stock Exchange has been postponed for a while for re-evaluation.
The draft proposes two different taxation formulas for the taxation of crypto assets. The first is to apply a transaction tax of 3 per 1,000 from buying and selling, and the other is to apply income tax from the income obtained from buying and selling. It is estimated that the annual tax revenue will be 3.7 billion TL if a transaction tax is introduced for crypto assets.
