Changpeng Zhao Launches Free Online Education Platform Giggle Academy

Giggle Academy

Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, the former CEO of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has embarked on a new venture: Giggle Academy. Announced on Monday, this educational platform aims to provide free, basic education (grades 1-12) with a personalized curriculum.

Focus on Accessibility and Broader Skillset

Giggle Academy targets individuals lacking access to traditional schooling. Their curriculum encompasses core subjects alongside those not typically offered in conventional schools, such as blockchain technology, finance, artificial intelligence (AI), and emotional intelligence (EQ).

Directly Working with CZ and Remote Opportunities

CZ, through his Twitter account, announced that Giggle Academy is actively recruiting talent. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work directly under CZ’s leadership, specifically creating digital content for the online courses.

Transparency and Focus on Education

During the launch, CZ emphasized that Giggle Academy is a non-crypto related project with no plans for token launches. The platform offers entirely free, online courses, making education accessible to a wider audience.

CZ’s Sentencing Update

CZ’s criminal sentencing, initially scheduled for February, has been postponed to April 30th. However, a November 24th filing suggests harsher potential penalties than previously anticipated. Former SEC official John Reed Stark believes CZ could face 12-18 months in prison.

Last week, an updated bail agreement mandated CZ to surrender his Canadian passport. Court documents indicate he must relinquish all current and expired passports and travel documents to his legal counsel. He is also prohibited from applying for a new passport from any other country.
