Critical Development in Green United’s Crypto Mining Fraud Case!

Green United

Kristoffer Krohn, the promoter of Green United, has filed a motion to dismiss the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) $18 million fraud lawsuit, arguing that the case should be dropped.

According to Krohn, the SEC’s claim that the mining devices sold by Green United are securities is legally invalid.

Green United promoter Kristoffer Krohn has appealed the $18 million crypto fraud case filed against him by the SEC. In his filing with the Utah federal court, Krohn argued that the SEC’s categorization of the device sales as an “investment contract” is unlawful.

Krohn maintains that Green United buyers were not sharing in the company’s profits and that the devices were simply high-performance hardware. In the case filed in March 2023, the SEC alleged that the “Green Box” devices mined Bitcoin but did not produce GREEN tokens. Krohn emphasized the need for the Appeals Court to establish a clearer legal framework regarding crypto assets.
