15 May 2024, Marseille, France Animoca Brands led a $3.5 million equity round of fundraising announced by CROSS THE AGES (CTA), the sci-fi fantasy IP-based multimedia gaming ecosystem. Sebastien Borget of The Sandbox and Nicolas Jeuffrain of Tenergie contribute further to this funding round, which brings the total funding raised to date—$23.5 million including community fundraising—to $15 million.
Exchanges including Bybit, KuCoin, GATE, and MEXC will list the token alongside the announcement of the cash raised during the ecosystem’s Token Generation Event (TGE).
With this calculated move, CROSS THE AGES plans to expand the CTA universe and ecosystem and quicken its several expansion projects. Since its March 2023 virtual trading card game launch, CROSS THE AGES has amassed over 400k downloads and a 148k monthly active user community.
Leading sci-fi and fantasy publisher Hachette & Bragelonne published La Rune & le Code (English title: The Rune & the Code), the first volume of CTA’s seven-book saga, and both the Elixir gaming platform and the Web3 project Mon Protocol recently announced collaborations with CTA. Ubisoft launched a crossover collaboration with CTA earlier this year, integrating characters from its Watch DogsTM game series into the CTA trading card game.
