Dogecoin, Worldcoin, and 35 Altcoins on Grayscale’s Evaluation List!

Grayscale

Grayscale Investments has taken another significant step in the cryptocurrency market by adding Dogecoin, Worldcoin, and 35 altcoins to its evaluation list for potential future investment products.

The tokens Grayscale is evaluating are grouped under five main categories: currencies, smart contract platforms, financial assets, culture, and services. This diversity will allow investors to access assets with growth potential in various fields.

Most of the new assets on Grayscale’s radar fall into the smart contract platforms category. These platforms include alternative layer-1 blockchains like Aptos (APT) and Sei (SEI), the data availability network Celestia (TIA), and the Ethereum scaling solution Mantle (MNT). Additionally, more established projects such as Arbitrum (ARB), Cosmos (ATOM), Polygon (MATIC), Toncoin (TON), and Tron (TRX) are also under Grayscale’s investment watch.

Growing Interest in Solana-Based Projects

Grayscale has also evaluated some notable projects from the Solana ecosystem. These include the decentralized exchange Jupiter (JUP), blockchain oracle service Pyth (PYTH), and the decentralized infrastructure network Helium (HNT). Thanks to Solana’s fast and low-cost transactions, these projects continue to attract investors’ attention.

Dogecoin and Crypto Gaming Network in Focus

Dogecoin (DOGE), the favorite of the memecoin world, and the crypto gaming network Immutable (IMX) are among the popular assets included in Grayscale’s evaluation list. These projects are in the same category as consumer and culture-focused assets like Basic Attention Token (BAT) and Decentraland (MANA), which Grayscale already offers.

Currently, Grayscale provides 30 different investment products, including 25 separate crypto trusts, four exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and a dynamic income fund for certain cryptocurrencies. Recently, in the second half of 2023, Grayscale launched new products such as the Aave Investment Fund (October 3), XRP Trust (September 12), and Avalanche Fund (August 22).
