Former US President and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump has revealed that he has earned more than $7 million from his $5 million crypto assets and NFT collections.
Donald Trump Announces His Crypto Holdings
According to a personal financial disclosure obtained by the Ethics Watchdog Citizens for Ethics, Trump has between $1 million and $5 million in Ethereum-based crypto assets.
Trump also revealed that he has earned more than $7.15 million from three NFT collections. These collections include the “Mugshot” project, which addresses criminal allegations, and two separate Donald Trump Trading Card series.
Former president and presidential candidate Donald Trump hinted that he could release a new series, stating that the community wants a fourth NFT series, in a statement to Bloomberg on July 16. The former President launched a limited-edition “official crypto-sneaker” series on August 1. The 1,000 orange sneakers sold out in a matter of hours, despite their $499 price tag.
Blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence estimated that Trump’s Ethereum-based crypto assets were worth $3.5 million at the time of publication. Trump’s on-chain crypto assets briefly rose to $18 million in June when a memecoin called “TRUMP” surged in price.
The TRUMP memecoin was launched in August to raise funds for US veterans and child protection. Despite being named after Trump, it has no official ties or endorsements to the former president.

Aside from crypto, the statement also revealed that the former president earned more than $300,000 from branded Bibles and $216 million from his Mar-a-Lago resort and his own branded golf course in Doral, Florida.
This is a significant increase from when Trump reported owning more than $2.8 million in Ethereum-based crypto assets and more than $4.8 million in NFTs in August 2023.
Trump, once critical of Bitcoin and crypto, has become a strong advocate of digital assets in recent months. He took a pro-crypto stance during his 2024 campaign, promising to make the US the “crypto capital of the world” if elected. Speaking at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Trump pledged to create a national Bitcoin stockpile and make the US a leader in the space by implementing a series of crypto-friendly policies.
