Arkham is a cryptocurrency data tracker company. The company announced that former President Donald Trump’s holdings in the TRUMP memecoin have exceeded $1 million.
When Did Donald Trump Buy TRUMP Memecoin?
Initially buying $7,000 worth of TRUMP coin in August and October 2023, Trump was then sent a further amount of TRUMP coin via airdrop. At midnight on August 19, 469,000 TRUMP worth $5,600 at the time was transferred to him. Two months later, he received additional TRUMP tokens worth about $1,500. His current holdings are worth over $1.07 million. This means that his initial purchase has given him a return of approximately 150x.
The TRUMP coin sent to Trump via airdrop was not taken at his request or by his team.
Most of the TRUMP coins were purchased on August 16 after Arkham discovered Trump’s wallet. The TRUMP memecoin is currently trading at $1.59.
In addition to the memecoin, Trump’s wallet contains 4,776 MATIC worth $3,620.
