Former U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed plans for an interview with tech billionaire Elon Musk. The interview, slated for Monday night, is anticipated to cover various topics, including the ever-controversial subject of cryptocurrency.
Elon Musk, who has previously expressed support for Trump following an assassination attempt, stated, “I fully support President Trump and wish him a speedy recovery.” In addition, it was reported in May that Musk had begun advising Trump on cryptocurrency matters.
Throughout his campaign, Trump has consistently shared positive messages about cryptocurrencies. In a recent appearance on the Kick platform with Adin Ross, Trump emphasized the importance of the U.S. maintaining its edge in the crypto space. “The U.S. must not fall behind in the crypto arena. Look at China—they’re advancing rapidly. The same goes for artificial intelligence… AI is number one. Cryptocurrencies are also crucial. I’ve met smart and dedicated people in this field doing remarkable work. Every sector has its pros and cons, and as a nation, we must capitalize on the benefits of crypto.
