Former BlackRock Senior Executive Makes Interesting Predictions about ETFs (Bitcoin).
Steven Schoenfield, a former senior executive at BlackRock, predicts that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will approve a Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the near future.
Schoenfield shared this prediction during a panel discussion about ETFs at the Digital Asset Summit in London.
Schoenfield believes that the SEC will want to approve all ETF applications at the same time to avoid favoring any particular company. He also thinks that the SEC’s postponement of pending ETF applications is a positive sign, as the regulator is now requesting more information instead of rejecting applications.

Schoenfield noted “if a Bitcoin spot ETF is approved, there could be an inflow of 150 to 200 billion dollars within three years. Also, this could greatly increase the managed assets in Bitcoin products.”
This prediction comes during a time when the cryptocurrency market is eagerly awaiting the regulatory approval of Bitcoin ETFs. However, Ethereum Futures ETFs did not initially draw the expected interest.
