The United States of America-based electronic stock exchange Nasdaq declared that they give up crypto custody service. Before early, the exchange registered for audit the service to the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). According to plans, the service will launch a few months later. But they paused the plan.

Nasdaq notified in its declaration that the main reason for the decision is USA regulations. As we know currently the US government organizations, especially SEC is offering hard rules for cryptocurrencies. CEO of the exchange Adena Friedman declared in her own assertion that the Nasdaq (NDAQ) give up its own plan for Crypto Custody Services. Speaking of which the custody service will launch in the second quarter of 2023. But they can’t do that because of the harsh decisions of the government.
