The popular decentralized exchange, PancakeSwap, has made an airdrop announcement. Accordingly, PancakeSwap has announced its plans to distribute 2.45 million zkSync (ZK) tokens to its community.
Decentralized exchange PancakeSwap will distribute 2,452,128 zkSync (ZK) tokens to its community via airdrop.
“We are excited to announce that PancakeSwap will be airdropping 2,452,128 million ZK tokens directly to our community. The ZKsync airdrop is structured to reward long-time contributors who have supported our journey and new participants who are actively engaged with PancakeSwap.
Airdrop distribution is currently open to eligible CAKE Holders, Liquidity Providers, Active Traders, Traverse Campaign Participants, zkSync Prediction Users and some zkSync voters.”
Finally, reminding that the airdrop claims opened on July 5, 2024 at 10:30 UTC and will close on August 5, 2024 at 10:30 UTC, the PancakeSwap team stated that “All unclaimed tokens during this period will be reallocated to the PancakeSwap ecosystem for future development and community initiatives.”
While the ZK token has seen an increase in the last few hours following the airdrop news, this increase has been overshadowed by the Bitcoin (BTC) and general market decline.
