Ripple has revealed its latest collaboration with Futureverse, a leading company in the artificial intelligence and metaverse space.
Following its legal battles with the SEC, Ripple has been expanding rapidly outside the United States, and this new partnership marks a significant step in that direction.
Ripple recently took to X to announce its new partnership with Futureverse, a prominent AI and metaverse firm.
As part of this collaboration, Futureverse will utilize Ripple Custody to securely manage its cryptocurrency assets. Ripple Custody will ensure that Futureverse’s digital assets are safely received and stored on the Ottó blockchain before being minted.
Additionally, Ripple and the XRP community are set to enhance the XRPL development ecosystem by introducing new programmability features, including smart contracts, through the XRPL EVM sidechain by 2025.
Jeffrey McDonald, Founder of Ottó Blockchain and Chief Customer Officer at Futureverse, stated, “The integration of Ripple Custody is driven by Ripple’s industry-leading security features and capabilities, which enhance the protection of our customers’ digital assets. Our longstanding relationship with Ripple and their market-leading product features make Ripple Custody the ideal solution as we continue to build in the AI and metaverse technology space.”
XRP has seen a 3.6% increase in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.56.
