Ripple Victory Prompts XRP Advocate to Call on Elon Musk

Elon Musk

Fred Rispoli, a staunch XRP advocate, has issued a public call to Tesla CEO Elon Musk to integrate XRP into the X payment system.

The call comes on the heels of the much-anticipated conclusion of the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit. In a significant victory for the crypto industry, Ripple was ordered to pay a $125 million fine for institutional sales, while its token, XRP, was deemed not to be a security in most circumstances.

Following this legal triumph, Rispoli took to social media to urge Musk to consider XRP for X Payments. “Elon Musk, you now have a golden opportunity to legally thumb your nose at the SEC after their defeat today against Ripple. Run this through the X legal process, I’m sure Adam would agree with me,” Rispoli tweeted.

The attorney highlighted the potential benefits of integrating XRP into X, suggesting that it would align with Musk’s vision of a more decentralized and efficient financial system.

Musk has previously expressed interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and his acquisition of Twitter, now rebranded as X, has fueled speculation about his plans for integrating digital assets into the platform.

The recent SEC vs. Ripple ruling has created a more favorable regulatory environment for the cryptocurrency industry, and many believe that it could lead to increased adoption of digital assets. Rispoli’s call for Musk to integrate XRP into X is just one example of the growing enthusiasm for cryptocurrency within the broader tech industry.
