According to the announcements, the joint ventures are aimed at supporting the adoption of AI in the public and private sectors, encouraging the creation of a vibrant AI ecosystem, and developing a sustainable AI talent pool. These goals are in line with the city-state’s “National AI Strategy 2.0”.
The organizations involved in the program include the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Digital Industry Singapore, Smart Nation Group, and EnterpriseSG.
One of the initiatives announced is the second edition of AI Trailblazers, which provides organizations with access to Google Cloud’s AI program and the Innovation Sandbox program to help them build and deploy their own productive AI solutions.
This initiative, called AI Trailblazers 2.0, will help local organizations quickly build GenAI (Generative AI) solutions to solve real-world problems.
The first AI Trailblazers study tested over 100 GenAI use cases from 84 government and private organizations, resulting in 43 successful solutions.
In addition, Google Cloud and EnterpriseSG have also announced the Google for Startups Accelerator, which aims to nurture 100 promising AI projects over the next three years and help them scale their products into new markets.
