The TON Foundation has announced the integration of Axelar’s Mobius Development Stack (MDS) as a key interoperability solution for The Open Network (TON), aiming to improve connectivity with other blockchains. This move will enable developers on TON to facilitate asset transfers between TON and other chains and develop cross-chain decentralized applications (dApps).
Axelar’s MDS provides a developer-friendly, secure, and open platform that will support seamless cross-network integration, eliminating fragmented liquidity and improving the user experience by preventing assets from being isolated on different chains. This integration is also expected to capitalize on Telegram’s vast user base of nearly 950 million active users, offering them access to a variety of decentralized services and mini-apps, directly within the Telegram ecosystem.
