Trump 2024 Campaign Now Accepts Cryptocurrency

Donald Trump Crypto

Keeping his word to be the first major party candidate to accept bitcoin, ether, and other digital currencies, Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign started taking cryptocurrency payments on Tuesday.

The action takes place a few weeks after the outgoing president announced at a Mar-a-Lago event that he would be running for president in 2024.

The campaign of Donald Trump declared that it “will build a crypto army” to counter the notorious “anti-crypto army” that Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has been running on.

Supporters of Trump’s stance are taking the encouraging words as sufficient, even though he hasn’t yet put up any specific crypto policies. That’s mostly because the Obama administration has historically adopted a very anti-crypto position.

Democrats’ calculations may be shifting as cryptocurrency becomes a legitimate campaign topic, as seen by the House Democratic leadership’s choice to hold off on pressuring its members against an impending cryptocurrency policy measure in the past 24 hours.
