Following warnings from intelligence about possible murder attempts from Iran, Donald Trump, the United States 2024 presidential candidate, on Wednesday claimed he is in great danger. He said, “Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting.”
According to reports, US intelligence agents have told Trump about claimed Iranian murder threats. “Real and specific threats from Iran to assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States,” the campaign statement said.
Trump expressed his worries in an X post about Iran’s past failed action and mentioned they would try once again. He said, “Not a good situation for anyone.” More men, rifles, and other weaponry around me than I have ever seen.
The former President did, however, also thank Congress for unanimously authorizing an extra Secret Service budget and underscoring bipartisan support.
According to his campaign, he had been informed of “real and specific threats” from Iran and indicated that this would cause US instability. Should threats materialize, Trump encouraged America to “wipe off Iran off the face of the earth” and called in for drastic actions.
