Trump Pledges Bitcoin Leadership in 2024 Campaign

Donald Trump Crypto Bitcoin

Former U.S. President Donald Trump argues that the country must settle for anything except a top position in the bitcoin sector.

Our country must be a leader in this area; there is no room for second place,’ Trump said at the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) Truth Social.

Before aiming at the present president, Joe Biden, whom he is up against in the 2024 presidential contest, with the US election day set for November 4, he said, “I am very positive and open-minded to cryptocurrency companies and all things related to this new and burgeoning industry.”

“Crooked Joe Biden, on the other hand, the worest president in the history of our country, wants it to die a slower and painful death. That never happen with me!”

His remarks were delivered before his planned speech at the National Convention of the Libertarian Party in Washington on the same day.

Trump’s recent favorable attitude toward cryptocurrencies has increased hopes among the crypto business for his possible triumph.

Polymarket, a New York-based crypto prediction tool, claims that Trump has a 56% chance of winning the election, while present President Joe Biden has a 38% chance.

This follows Trump’s declaration that his presidential campaign will accept bitcoin donations. The Trump 2024 campaign claimed on May 21 that it had created a fundraising page using the Coinbase Commerce tool for qualified donors in cryptocurrencies.

The website had logos for Bitcoin, Ether, Dogecoin, Shiba, XRP, USD Coin, SOL, and 0x (ZRX).

Apart from Trump’s encouraging public statements about cryptocurrencies, he has apparently visited crypto aficionados.

The dinner was included under the terms of purchase for the digital trading cards, which include his mug photo taken at his Georgia jail surrender in Fulton County.
