Fireblocks platform, an infrastructure provider for the transfer, storage, and issue of digital assets, has collaborated with UK-based corporate crypto exchange Zodia Markets. This collaboration will focus on the development of cross-border payments between companies.
According to a press release, this collaboration will enable companies to transfer funds quicker through stablecoins instead of traditional fiat currency methods. The integration will result in Zodia using Fireblocks’ platform for peer-to-peer stablecoin transactions and will also focus on traditional foreign exchange execution against digital assets, particularly in emerging markets.
Richard Astle, Vice President and Business Leader at Fireblocks, says, “We have long observed that users in our network adopt stablecoins as a quick and cost-effective means of value transfer”. “As a global organization, the expansion of non-USD entry/exit ramps is also increasing, which not only makes this collaboration with Zodia Markets unique in terms of value proposition but also indicates the start of bringing FX on-chain.”
Zodia Markets, which is supported by Standard Chartered’s venture capital unit, offers digital asset trading to companies and large institutions.
