Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the listing of two new altcoins.
BIGTIME (BIGTIME) and Akash Network (AKT) will be listed on Upbit today, April 23, at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM KST, respectively.
BIGTIME deposits will only be open on the Ethereum network, while AKT deposits will only be open on the Akash network. Upbit also warned that transfers from other networks should not be made.
BIGTIME will be traded in Bitcoin and USDT pairs, while AKT will be traded in South Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin, and USDT pairs. Investors will be able to trade BIGTIME/USDT, BIGTIME/BTC, AKT/KRW, AKT/BTC, and AKT/USDT trading pairs after the listing.
According to CoinGecko data, the listing announcements sent BIGTIME and AKT prices soaring. BIGTIME price rose 31% from $0.195 to $0.257, while AKT price surged 84% from $3.5 to $6.47.
